The POLINI racing clutch is designed for racing use and combines reverse functionality with a design tailored to power transmission. With this concept, the unit connected to the crankshaft is located in the inner hub instead of in the outer clutch bell.

This version has a primary pinion with 23 teeth and helical teeth. This allows the clutch to be adapted to different gear ratios within the intended system by selecting the primary gear. The ability to replace the primary gear allows for later modification of the POLINI HT clutch.
